BRAINS...and a hike in the woods
Darris came for visit to photograph the city. Being July in San Francisco the weather was pretty crappy but we did go on a hike up on a Mt. Tam trail during some of the worst fog I’ve ever seen.

All the vegetation did seem to come alive. Mostly when Mr. P and I are hiking it’s pretty dry so everything is brown and curled up but this time all the leaves and mosses were bright green and unfurled, soaking up the moisture. And the droplets of fog clung to the spider webs and made the trees look like filigreed chandeliers.

And of course I made Mr. P pretend he was a zombie coming out of the fog. He was moaning “brains” pretty loud and I didn’t know there were other people on the trail because visibly was so poor so I’m sure they got a show too.
