This is the view from The Rock. My mother pronouced Alcatraz depressing. I think that was the whole point of Alcatraz unless I missed something. Also they had an inmate there that day as part of the tour. Which to me seems like true hell on earth. First you do time in Alcatraz then you have to tell tourists about it for the rest of your life.
